Steve Godman

Steve is an experienced, commercially-driven entrepreneur who has has been involved in early-stage, disruptive technology businesses for nearly 20 years, following an early career in global logistics. He has led sales and marketing teams across MarTech, messaging, mobile and social platforms. In 2011 Steve served as Commercial Director of Skinkers, driving their acquisition by IMImobile PLC. He continued to orchestrate the successful merging of the two companies and the sale of their mobile and social media aggregation and curation tool to over 80% of UK media companies including the BBC. In 2014, Steve launched Soundmite, the world's first social audio service across mobile and web.

Toby Abel

Toby is a technology entrepreneur and strategist. He has built the products, development teams and strategies for AI-driven startups across business sectors; from events, to technology, education, recruitment, fashion and now news. With some significant successes under his belt (Befittd sold 2016, Beamery is being widely lauded as the next big HR success) as well as a healthy dose of failure (Planitt closed 2012 returning investors' funds), and having spent his entire childhood embedded in the news industry, he is uniquely positioned to perceive and guide the future of journalism. Really though, he just loves building things that work beautifully.

Quin Murray

Quin is a product evangelist and user engagement expert with a background in psychology and a long history in startup product development. Immediately after leaving the New Entrepreneurs Foundation, he started Krzana with Toby. Previously a founder of Seed Jobs (now Beamery) and Gearhart Media, where he ran product development and account management. He's analytical and insightful, and obsessive about our customers' experience.


Stuart Jeffrey

Stuart has over 30 years senior level experience in the corporate finance industry consulting for a wide range of companies in business development including start-ups, fundraisings, mergers, turnaround, recovery, acquisitions and both MBOs and MBIs. Over the last 5 years, Stuart has been instrumental in assisting young entrepreneurs make their dreams a reality and has recently been part of the start up Team for Power Ethernet, Travelfund and DSX helping them raise the initial and ongoing investment rounds alongside dealing with the post investment requirements.

Sandip is a highly experienced entrepreneurial senior executive with global leadership experience and over 25 years experience across the Telecom, Technology & Media sectors. He has an unparalleled track record of raising finance, driving business growth, building strategic partnerships and managing acquisitions. He was instrumental in helping set up the IPR exploitation process within BT Group, with the first spin-off company in BT – Asset House Technology, through venture funding.

Geof Todd

Geof has over 30 years of commercial success in media and corporate software sales & marketing, also focused on media and broadcast technologies. He has built his track record on leading and delivering the changes wrought by Digital transformation; from the DTP revolution led by Apple, to 3D visualisation, the Web and Big Data with SGI and most recently as the Director of New Business Initiatives at NDS (now Cisco), where he led the shift from Broadcast to IPTV.


Fergus Bell

Fergus Bell is an experienced journalist, editor and leading expert in digital newsgathering and the verification of user-generated content. He has worked across both the business and editorial sides of the industry. He is the co-founder of newsroom innovation initiative Pop-Up Newsroom and was the Associated Press’ first global social media and UGC editor where he played a major role in setting the current industry standards on verification.
Fergus founded Dig Deeper Media in 2015 and advises broadcasters, publishers and news-focused start-ups across Europe on social and digital newsgathering and newsroom innovation.
